Local K9 officer assigned to Chiefs security detail

NEW ORLEANS (WPVI) -- Security is tight all across the Big Easy ahead of the Super Bowl.

Among those keeping the city safe is K9 Officer Mark Chmielinski, founder and chief operations officer of a private K-9 unit called 3DK9.

The Eagles use the company for all their events in Philadelphia and on the road.

Chmielinski is an Eagles fan but has been assigned to the Chiefs security detail.

He says at the end of the day, he and his team will do the best job possible no matter whose team they work for.
