Philadelphia International Airport gets funding for major safety improvements

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Major improvements are coming to Philadelphia International Airport.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Regina Young presented a nearly half-a-million dollar check to the airport.

The project will create new employee and pedestrian walkways between terminals, commercial buildings and plazas.
