PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect they say attacked a delivery driver.

The strong-arm robbery happened on April 19 around 4:30 p.m. in front of an apartment building on the 1500 block of West Allegheny Avenue.

In surveillance video, you can see the suspect grab the GoPuff driver and try to take the wallet from his pocket.

"This was a completely random crime. He was certainly not known to the complainant. The complainant was simply a driver just trying to make a buck," said Northwest Detectives Captain John Craig. "This individual grabbed him, began to rummage through his pockets, and put him in a headlock."

Investigators say the suspect took the driver's keys and wallet and ran off.

The suspect was last seen walking towards 15th and Allegheny after the robbery. Police say he was wearing a white shirt with "Live Life" in black lettering, and black pants.

"The safety and security of the Gopuff community is our top priority, and we were deeply troubled to learn of this incident. We remain committed to doing everything we can to keep delivery partners safe," said GoPuff in a statement.

A spokesperson said the company offers training to help keep drivers safe, which includes encouraging them to park where there are surveillance cameras and other people are around and to leave a delivery and call 911 if they feel unsafe.

Police offered advice as well.

"Maintain that hypervigilance and constantly be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious behavior to law enforcement right away," said Craig.

"It makes me not feel comfortable," said Sheeba Cousin, who lives in the building where the attack happened. "Stuff like this can't keep happening because we want our community to be safe."
