I-95 crash claims life of motorcyclist in Ridley Park, Pa.

RIDLEY PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving a motorcyclist left one person dead on Thursday night in Delaware County.

It happened around 9 p.m. on the southbound lanes of I-95 near Route 420 in Ridley Park.

According to state police, the crash claimed the life of 26-year-old Matthew Rinck.

Police say Rinck, who was riding a motorcycle, collided with another vehicle while changing lanes.

He was thrown from the motorcycle and later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.

Chopper 6 was overhead as police shut down traffic in the area for hours until the scene was cleared.
