PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There have been many inspiring trailblazers who have paved the way for us here at 6abc, and on Tuesday, some of those individuals returned to be inducted into our Hall of Fame.
6abc President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica recognized five more legendary leaders as part of our third class of inductees on Tuesday.
Photos of legendary Action News Anchor Jim Gardner, retired veteran reporter Vernon Odom, the late Jim O'Brien, Rebecca Campbell and Helene Hoffman, were revealed on the new Hall of Fame wall, just outside of our studio.
These five individuals have left a lasting impact here at 6abc and in our community through their work.
"The nice thing about it is, I will be among a growing list of mentors and former colleagues that mean so much to the station, but also to me," Jim Gardner said.
"I had no idea I would be here that long, and I stayed and stayed and stayed!" said Vernon Odom. "And I'm very proud and very happy."
Action News wouldn't be what it is today without these trailblazers.
