PINE HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities have arrested a man wanted for sexually assaulting a child in Pine Hill, Camden County.

U.S. Marshals apprehended 22-year-old Shane Hennesy in Morgantown, Pennsylvania early Friday morning.

The Newtown Square native is charged with a long list of crimes, including first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault.

He is in jail in Berks County pending extradition to New Jersey.

The girl was assaulted between December 2024 and January 2025 after the two met online, the prosecutor's office said.

According to the criminal complaint, Hennesy climbed through the girls' bedroom window while her parents and siblings were asleep.

He is accused of assaulting her in her bed and staying in the room for hours before leaving through the window.

During the search, authorities released both Hennesy's driver's license image and photos he posted of himself online.

Noting the difference between the photos, police say Hennesy has lost some weight but is also using filters to change his appearance.

Anyone with information about the sexual assault investigation is asked to contact Detective Kerry Butler of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit at (856) 225-8664. Tips can also be sent online at CAMDEN.TIPS.
