PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia 76ers selected Johni Broome with the No. 35 overall pick in the second round of the NBA Draft on Thursday night.
The veteran center out of Auburn is one of the most decorated players in college basketball over the last few seasons.
He's the reigning SEC player of the year, averaging nearly 19 points per game, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists last season.
And he led his team all the way to the Final Four.
During the first round of the draft on Wednesday night, the 76ers took VJ Edgecombe with the No. 3 overall pick.
